Dashboards and reporting
The handful of numbers that actually drive decisions, on a screen your team opens on Monday rather than a deck someone rebuilds each month.
Dashboards and reporting for the decisions a business makes every week, and study design, statistical analysis and interpretation for research that has to survive review. Same standard either way: the method is written down, and the result holds when someone checks it.
What this covers
From board reporting and product metrics to academic research and thesis analysis, our analysts help you design the study, collect and clean the data, run the right tests, and present findings people can act on. Business or academic, the standard is the same: the method is written down and the result is defensible.
The handful of numbers that actually drive decisions, on a screen your team opens on Monday rather than a deck someone rebuilds each month.
Getting data out of the places it is stuck, reconciling versions that disagree, and making the whole thing repeatable instead of a monthly ordeal.
Choosing and running the right test, checking the assumptions it depends on, and explaining what the output does — and does not — support.
Sample size, instruments, controls and analysis plan agreed before collection starts, which is the only point at which most problems are still fixable.
Questionnaires that measure what you think they measure, and a collection process that does not quietly ruin the data on the way in.
Analysis, tables, figures and the write-up of results and interpretation, prepared to the standard a supervisor or journal will expect.
Who this is for
They arrive with different worries, so it is worth saying which one you are when you get in touch.
How it runs
Four stages, and you can stop after any of them. Nothing here depends on committing to the whole thing up front.
What decision or claim is this analysis meant to support? Everything else follows from that, and a surprising amount of work disappears once it is stated.
We write down the approach — data sources, tests, assumptions, what would falsify it — and agree it with you before running anything.
Clean, model, check. You see intermediate results, including the ones that complicate the story, because those are the ones a reviewer will find.
Tables, figures and a written interpretation you can present and defend yourself — not a file of output you would have to have explained to you.
Questions
Yes — design, analysis, tables, figures and the write-up of your results and interpretation. What we will not do is write your thesis for you or attach our name to work presented as entirely your own reasoning. The line we hold is that you must be able to explain and defend every number, which is exactly what a viva tests.
No — it is the normal starting point, and cleaning it is part of the job rather than a prerequisite you have to meet first. Send it as it is.
Whatever you or your institution require — SPSS, R, Python or Stata for analysis, Power BI or Excel where the output has to be maintained by your team afterwards. We will tell you if the one you have asked for is a poor fit for the question.
For meta-analysis, factor analysis, SEM and scale reliability, yes — our analysis workbench runs them in the browser on the same R packages we use, free while it is in Beta. For anything beyond those, or where the interpretation is the hard part, talk to us.
Prefer to run it yourself?
Meta-analysis, confirmatory and exploratory factor analysis, structural equation modelling and scale reliability — in your browser, on the same R packages we use. In Beta, free while it is, and no sign-up.
